When people in India suffer from infectious disease like typhoid, cholera, influenza, TB etc,; patients prefer to take medications like antibiotics, antiviral, antimicrobial to get cured. The curing process takes from 1 week to 1 year depending on the type of disease and medication disposed.

People became more cautious in health by improvising hygienic lifestyle and taking better precautions. In another decade, the immune system became more potent and capable to resist pathogens to attack body.

There were certain other disease which was incurable and only preventative method was to vaccinate from babyhood; diseases like Polio. Due to continuous and proactive cooperation of parents, Polio has almost been eradicated in a past a decade.

Due to drastic change in lifestyle and urbanization, we have invited other diseases like diabetes, obesity, hypertension, arthritis, baldness (hairfall). People above 50 years suffer highly from these diseases.

2011 onwards, we find these ailments rising high in youth between 20-39 years old. Diabetes are transpiring from birth and genetically impacts next generation too. We find youngsters being victim to most of these lifestyle diseases, they undergo hypertension, arthritis and at a very early age. They even die with heart attack at mid 20’s and 30’s.

India is counted one among the youngest country in world and now listed as the capital of diabetes, leading in heart disease and number one in cancer.

One of the major causes of lifestyle disease is stress. Stress due to air pollution, due to uncomfortable thoughts and feeling and many other factors that stress is building its house in our life. It eventually ends up in creating complications both mentally and physically.

Our effort should be to make our country a healthier place to live. The good news is we can stop these lifestyle diseases ruling our lives further. To make this effort actively prominent, we need to adopt small and healthful changes in our style of living.
